Pass and Move community

Giving back to our community is something that really matters to us at Pass & Move.
Mortimer is where our family is based, where our children grow, learn, and play football — and we’re grateful for the schools, people, and local support that have helped them along the way. We want to give something back by supporting local events, fundraisers and fetes, and by creating the Pass & Move Community Fund (see details below) to help provide equipment and opportunities for local children. This is our way of supporting the community that has supported families involved with Pass and Move.

Raising Money for our Local School PTFA this World Cup!

Pass and Move Football Coaching is proud to be raising money for our local Mortimer Primary School PTFA this June 2026 as a way of saying thank you to our amazing community for all the support you’ve given us.

⚽ The Challenge

Over the course of 39 days, we’re aiming to complete:

  • 10,000 kick-ups by the Pass and Move coaches – that’s around 260 every day!
  • 1,000 kick-ups by the kids!

It won’t be easy, but it will be a lot of fun and a fantastic way to celebrate the World Cup while giving something back to our local community.

The PTFA team:

Host many local events such as:

  • Mortimers Got Talent
  • Mortimer School Colour Run- They rarsied over £4,500 here!
  • They have helped restore outside gardens at local schools
  • Provided Easter Eggs for all the school kids

The funds raised will help the PTFA continue to provide fantastic opportunities for the children, organise brilliant events, purchase valuable resources for the school and much, much more. With your support, they can continue making a real difference to pupils, families and the wider community.

We’ll be posting daily challenge videos on our Facebook and Instagram pages, so make sure you follow along and cheer us on!

If you’re able to support us, we’d be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small. Every penny will help make a positive difference for the pupils and PTFA at Mortimer Primary School. Thank you so much for your support! ❤️⚽

🎉⚽ Let’s Celebrate the End of Term with a Match! ⚽🎉

To celebrate the end of the May half term, Pass and Move Football Coaching was delighted to organise a special football match at The Willink for all the children to enjoy.

The kids took part in a full one-hour match, giving it their all with brilliant effort, fantastic teamwork and some truly great goals! To top it all off, a few of the adults even joined in towards the end, making for plenty of laughs and memorable moments.

Most importantly, the children had an amazing time. Seeing their smiles, enthusiasm and love for the game is what Pass and Move is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a fun way to celebrate the end of the half term. We can’t wait for the next one! 💙⚽

The Pass & Move Community Fund

At Pass & Move, we believe football should do more than develop skills — it should give back.

That’s why we’re building the Pass & Move Community Fund, a local initiative designed to support children and grassroots football right here in Mortimer, the village we are proud to call home.

Through the Community Fund, we aim to:

  • Help local children with boots, kits, and essential equipment

  • Donate equipment to local schools and grassroots teams

  • Support local fundraisers

Throughout the year, we’ll be running football sessions where a percentage of our profits are reinvested directly into the Community Fund. For our February sessions, 5% of all profits will go straight into the Pass & Move Community Fund, helping us make an immediate local impact.

Giving back to Mortimer isn’t an add-on for us — it’s a core part of who we are. Supporting our local village and the people within it is a key incentive for Pass & Move going forward. Whether that’s helping a child get their first pair of boots, supporting a school or team, or backing inspiring local efforts like Debbie’s marathon for charity, this is just the beginning.

We’ll be sharing updates throughout the year to show how the Pass & Move Community Fund is making a real difference across the Mortimer community.

Watch this space — we’re only getting started. 💛⚽

Let`s support Debbie on her Marathon fundraiser journey!

Giving Back This January

A huge well done to Debbie for organising a successful fundraiser in support of Coach Core. The Pass and Move team were proud to be involved, sponsoring a race, giving away freebies and even winning £10 on a horse during race night. All proceeds from the event went directly to Coach Core.

Pass and Move also donated £1 for every one to one session delivered throughout January, helping to further support this fantastic cause. You can read more about Debbie’s fundraising journey and the work of Coach Core by clicking on the image.

Well done Debbie, a local Mortimer mum, who is preparing to run a full marathon for this incredible cause. We will be there to support her every step of the way.

Pass and Move were proud to fund a recent match for the children at Willink through our Community Fund. It was a fantastic occasion filled with energy, smiles and plenty of great football — even a few of the adults couldn’t resist getting involved!

Creating opportunities like this for young players in our community is something we’re passionate about, and we’re already looking forward to organising more events in the future.
